Magic Door: Apple CEO reveals animation of Apple Park's lunchroom doors

Apple CEO Tim Cook has given a rare glimpse of the stunning four-story doors at Apple's giant 'spaceship' headquarters.

In a tweet, the Apple CEO shared a gif of Apple Park's massive lunchroom doors, which provide natural ventilation for the site's 4,000 person café.

Apple Park opened last year in Cupertino, California and is a $5 billion campus that can accommodate 12,000 employees.

'Lunchtime at Apple Park just got a whole lot more exciting,'

Cook wrote in a tweet late Wednesday.

The gif appears to have been made from a timelapse video, speeding up the amount of time it takes to open the gigantic glass doors.

Of course, opening the doors should prevent Apple employees from crashing into them, like they had been earlier this year. Several members of staff had reportedly been injured by walking headfirst into the glass panels that make up Apple Park.

Although the injuries weren't serious, they were still bad enough to call local emergency services.

Even though Apple Park has been open for many months, the futuristic building continues to captivate Apple diehards and onlookers alike.

The 2.8-million square-foot building is, like every Apple product, designed to be aesthetically pleasing, down to even the smallest details.
Inside the Apple Park, one will see the spaceship building, which also features the 1,000-seat Steve Jobs Theater, a public cafe and an Apple retail store.

Much of the campus is adorned with lush trees, hills and grass, making it feel like a real park.

Apple Park is the brainchild of Steve Jobs, who came up with the design months before his death in 2011. Apple Park is 100% Steve Jobs's legacy.

Do you know Jobs famously hated air conditioning and fans?
